Pour-Over Coffee Tutorial

1. Measure 21 grams; we use a light roast from One Line. Good beans matter so use a bean from a caring purveyor like One Line or Deeper Roots.

2. Grind your beans.

3. Place the ground beans into the center of a soaked filter in your beehive. Try to level the beans before pouring.

4. Gently bloom or pour a small amount of hot water (200 degrees) on the center of the ground beans, avoiding the paper edges. This creates what we call the bloom. Let it bloom for 20 seconds.

5. After 20 seconds break the bloom, by very slowly & steadily, pouring hot water in concentric circles on the bloom until the water reaches about a 1/2" below the top of the filter.

6. Continue to pour in concentric circles on the bloom keeping the height steady. When 300 secinds remain stop pouring & let the remaining water go through the filter and you’re there! The Perfect CUP.
